ABOUT ME…

After 25 years as a Registered Dietitian, I made the decision to pursue a more creatively fulfilling path—gaining a degree in Graphic Design and dedicating myself fully to creating and teaching art. Creativity makes me feel whole, and I find deep joy in every part of the artistic process—from brainstorming and problem-solving to making thoughtful decisions about composition, color, and light. Sharing my passion through teaching allows me to connect with others and help them find their own artistic voice. I especially enjoy working in gouache, oil and soft pastel. My work is often inspired by the elegance of Art Nouveau, the geometry of Art Deco, the innovation of the Bauhaus Movement, and the beauty of nature—especially birds and flowers. I look forward to continuing to create meaningful, beautiful artwork and to inspire and educate others along the way.

Currently, I am teaching classes in collage, pastel and gouache and also have artwork for sale at the Marshall Muse Gallery 314 North Church Street Greensboro, NC 27401. I hope you have the opportunity to stop by this fabulous gallery!
